How we write questions
Every question on PrepTempo is original. Our questions are written from two kinds of public sources only: the officially published exam content outlines (for the Series 65, the NASAA exam content outline effective June 2023) and public primary sources — statutes like the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Uniform Securities Act, SEC rules and releases, NASAA model rules, and standard finance and economics references.
We never reproduce actual exam content. Real exam questions are copyrighted secure tests. No author on this site may reconstruct questions remembered from an exam sitting, and we do not consult question-dump sites. Every question in our bank carries an internal record of the outline section and sources it was written from.
Every question is human-reviewed before publication — the stem, the keyed answer, each distractor, and every explanation. Questions also pass an adversarial check in which an independent reviewer answers the question blind; any disagreement with the answer key sends the question back for rewrite. Each question displays its last-reviewed date.
Found a problem? Every question will carry a report button in the full product, and we commit to reviewing reports within 48 hours. Accuracy is the product.
Coverage mirrors the real exam. Question counts per domain follow the official outline weightings, so practice scores are meaningful signals of readiness — we publish no pass-rate claims until we have verifiable outcome data from real users.
