Exam details & notes
DLCP Board of Barber and Cosmetology: written theory administered by Prov, $92 exam fee paid to Prov at scheduling. Basic estheticians take written + practical; UNUSUAL: practical is waived for Master Estheticians (also braiders, managers, owners) — master tier is written-only. Master/Advanced Esthetician exam entirely waived with NCEA (National Coalition of Estheticians Associations) certification sent directly from NCEA to the board. Board does not publish whether the Prov written exam uses NIC content, question counts, or passing score — hence usesNic unknown and medium confidence.
