What it takes to get licensed to sell real estate in Connecticut, from the state's official commission and exam vendor.

- 60-hr Principles course + 15-hr Real Estate Brokerage Principles and Practices course + (two 15-hr electives OR one 30-hr appraisal course OR 20 real estate transactions in preceding 5 years) + at least 3 years actively engaged as a CT salesperson

- PSI (moved to online administration starting May 13, 2025)
- Exam structure
- Salesperson: 80 national + 30 state questions (120 min national / 45 min state, 165 min total). Broker: 80 national + 40 state questions (120 min / 60 min, 180 min total), scored separately
- Passing
- 70% each section for salesperson; 75% each section for broker
